In several parts of India, it’s common to address someone older as “bhaiya” or “didi”. A woman has shared her story of calling her husband “bhaiya” for eight years before they got married.
Vini posted a reel on Instagram showing her and Jai together in their younger years, then transitioning to photos from their wedding and finally featuring their baby.
The text on the video reads, “From calling him bhaiya for 8 years… Getting married and having a baby with him.”
In the caption, Vini explained, “We are relatives and because of our age gap I used to call him bhaiya for years 😁 Hence bhaiya to Saiyan.”
