After welcoming their daughter Devi in November, actor couple Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover have finally introduced her to their fans on social media by sharing her first photo. On Tuesday, Bipasha posted two pictures of Devi on Instagram and referred to her as “my heart” in her Instagram stories.
“Hello world … I am Devi ❤️ 🧿🧿🧿🧿🧿🧿🧿 #devibasusinghgrover,” read Bipasha’s caption, along with her daughter’s photos. Dia Mirza blessed Devi in the comments section, and wrote, “God bless you Devi. I love you! And can’t wait to hold you. ❤️🤗🦋” Vivan Bhathena called her “sunshine” and Kajal Aggarwal called her the “cutest little munchkin.”
Fans of the couple showered love on Devi in the comments section, with one fan calling her the “cutest baby ever” and many others describing her as “adorable.”
Bipasha and Karan had announced Devi’s birth in November through a social media post, stating that she is the “physical manifestation of our love and blessings of Ma.
In an earlier conversation with Hindustan Times, Bipasha had shared her memories of the day when she found out about her pregnancy. She stated that it was an emotional day, and she and Karan immediately went to her mother’s house to share the news. Bipasha’s mother was the first person she wanted to tell, and everyone was emotional. She also shared that having a baby was her mother’s dream for her and Karan, and she is grateful for it.
Bipasha had also revealed that she did not take up any work before her pregnancy because she wanted to have a baby first and then start working immediately again.
Bipasha and Karan tied the knot in 2016.
