Priyanka Chopra, after calling out Bollywood’s double standards and camps, has made a significant mark in the beauty industry with her brand “Anomaly” making it to the list of the wealthiest celeb-owned beauty brands globally. According to Cosmetify, Priyanka Chopra’s brand holds the second spot on the list. Fenty Beauty, owned by Rihanna, leads the category with a value of USD 58,75,89,284. Anomaly has surpassed Kylie Jenner’s Kylie Cosmetics, Ariana Grande’s R.E.M Beauty, and Selena Gomez’s Rare Beauty in terms of wealth.
The list also includes Drew Barrymore’s Flower Beauty at sixth, Zoe Foster Blake’s Go-To Skincare at seventh, Katie Holmes’ Alterna Haircare at eighth, Maria Sharapova’s SuperGoop at ninth, and Jeffree Star Cosmetics at tenth.
Priyanka Chopra’s hair care brand has secured the second spot on the list, according to a report that analyzes the industry’s most prominent brands. Fenty Beauty, owned by Rihanna, has topped the list with a wealth of £477.2 million.
The research states that Fenty Beauty is the wealthiest celebrity beauty brand of 2023. Earlier this year, Rihanna’s Fenty Invisimatte Instant Setting and Blotting Powder’s three-second brand cameo during her performance at Super Bowl LVII is estimated to have increased the media brand value of Fenty by $5 million.
Priyanka Chopra started her hair care company last year and spoke to Vogue India in 2022 about starting a beauty company. She said, “I’ve just recently taken to the business side of both the beauty and entertainment industries. That made me bifurcate the difference between sitting in the stylist’s chair and using a bunch of products to actually having a say in the products going into my hair.” Priyanka also recalled her childhood days and mentioned her hair care journey.
Priyanka Chopra, who recently appeared in The Matrix: Resurrections, will soon be seen in Prime Video’s Citadel alongside Game of Thrones’ Richard Madden.
