Actor and former VJ Rhea Chakraborty has announced her return to television. She will feature as a gang leader on the TV adventure show Roadies. In a video posted on Monday, Rhea looks into the camera and says, “You thought I won’t return? That I will be scared? Now, it is someone else’s turn to be scared. Let’s meet at the auditions.” At the end of the promo, a text flashes on screen introducing Rhea as a gang leader.

MTV Roadies’ official Instagram handle posted the video with the caption, “Live carefully or with fear? Whatever it is, you will not be able to ignore.” The makers also shared the audition details for MTV Roadies – Karm Ya Kaand, which will take place in Chandigarh on April 13, Delhi on April 15, Indore on April 20, and Pune on April 22.

Following the death of Sushant Singh Rajput, whom Rhea was dating, she faced a tumultuous few months. Sushant was found dead at his Bandra apartment in Mumbai in June 2020. Rhea was last seen in the thriller Chehre, which featured Emraan Hashmi and Amitabh Bachchan in lead roles. She has also worked in films such as Mere Dad Ki Maruti and Jalebi.
