As the Varun Dhawan-Gigi Hadid controversy unfolds, an old interview of Shah Rukh Khan feeling ‘uncomfortable’ with Lady Gaga resurfaces

Shah Rukh Khan, besides being a famous movie star, is known for his charming personality that has won the hearts of many people, including Hollywood stars. However, an uncomfortable moment with American pop star Lady Gaga surfaced, showing a different side of SRK. The incident reportedly happened in 2011 during an event where SRK offered his watch to Lady Gaga, but she refused.

In the interview clip, SRK can be seen crawling towards Lady Gaga on the sofa and insisting that she take his watch. Despite her repeated refusals and asking him to give the watch to a fan, SRK persisted. Lady Gaga even said ‘get away’ at one point while the audience laughed and clapped. Eventually, the interview moved on to other topics, but not before leaving an awkward impression on the pop star.

While the live audience seemed to enjoy the interaction, fans on the internet reacted quite differently. The clip resurfaced recently amid a controversy involving Varun Dhawan lifting Gigi Hadid during his performance at the NMACC event. Fans took to Twitter to express their discomfort and embarrassment over SRK’s behavior towards Lady Gaga, with many describing it as cringeworthy.

Finally people are talking about this. As an Indian I felt so ashamed when I saw this video years ago.Gaga is such an icon. SRK should have known better. It's time he should write a public apology to Gaga.
