Child actor Riva Arora, known for her roles in Uri and Mom, celebrated reaching 10 million followers on Instagram by receiving a luxurious gift from her mother. Her mother gifted her a new Audi Q3, which is priced above Rs 44 lakh throughout the country. Riva, who is also a popular social media influencer, has been accused of being a victim of child exploitation and misleading personality on the internet.
Riva shared a series of photos on her Instagram account, in which she is seen posing with her new black Audi luxury sedan. She captioned the post by thanking her mother and expressing her love for her fans, who flooded the comments section with congratulatory messages. However, some users expressed concern over whether Riva is old enough to hold a license to drive such a luxury car.
Riva was embroiled in a sensitive controversy last year when, despite being quite young, she was seen appearing with middle-aged men like Mika Singh and Karan Kundrra. Her mother was accused of exploiting her for financial gain. The family has not yet revealed Riva’s actual age.
When asked about the criticism, Riva told Indian Express that she focuses on the positive aspects and does not let negativity get to her. She also laughed off questions about her age, saying that it would be revealed soon and that she is not 12.
Riva’s family has been teasing her about the accusations, jokingly asking her if she is 12 years old. She says that they make her laugh and remind her that the accusations are false. Her mother, Nisha, posted on her Instagram stories, expressing her disappointment at the false allegations about her daughter’s age and calling out the media for spreading false news.
