In a bombshell video, YouTuber Shan has ignited a firestorm by exposing troubling claims about child actor Riva Arora and her mother, who doubles as her manager. Known for her role in Uri: The Surgical Strike, Riva is a social media sensation—but Shan’s investigation suggests she’s a minor trapped in a web of exploitation, with her true age shrouded in deception.
Age Lies Unraveled
Shan zeroes in on Riva’s age, a puzzle that doesn’t add up. In November 2024, Riva claimed, “Hi, my name is Riva Arora. I am 19 years old.” Yet, a 2018 interview by Join Films introduced her as an 8-year-old who started acting at 8 months. Riva echoed this in a casting video that year: “I am 8 years old.” Shan calculates: if she was 8 in 2018, she’d be 15 by March 28, 2025 (8 + 7). Even if she fudged her age to seem younger—say, 10 in 2018—she’d be 17 now. Her alleged Rockstar debut at 8 months in 2011 further supports a 15-ish age today, clashing with her “19” claim.
Suggestive Roles Raise Alarms
What escalates this from curiosity to scandal is Riva’s work. Shan highlights 2022 reels with Mika Singh—three times her speculated age—featuring suggestive lyrics like “She was intoxicated that night.” At 14-15 then, per Shan’s timeline, she was a minor. A reel with Karan Kundrra (late 30s) shows them pretending to drink at a bar, while a 2023 video with Ali Quli Mirza casts her as “eye candy” in revealing outfits. Heavy makeup and alleged fillers, Shan argues, mask her youth, making her appear older for these roles.
Mother’s Role Questioned
Shan points the finger at Riva’s mother, her manager since infancy. Under India’s Contract Act of 1872, minors can’t consent to contracts—her mother approved every project. “No sane parent would allow this,” Shan says, comparing it to Hansika Motwani’s mother-managed career. He questions what Riva’s been conditioned to accept, noting her mother’s dual role likely blurred care and exploitation.
A Fake PhD Twist
Adding to the saga, Riva claimed an honorary PhD in “Digital Influence” on March 7, 2025, from Adi Shankar Vedic University. Shan’s digging revealed it’s a sham—no campus exists at the listed Dutch address, just a house. The university’s website is a poorly copied mess, registered as a foundation, not an educational body. “One scam meets another,” Shan quips.
Shan’s Plea
Shan insists he’s not attacking Riva but exposing child actor exploitation. Despite years of backlash, her team pushes her as an adult, dodging proof like a birth certificate. “She’s a kid being made to do this,” he stresses, urging viewers to share his video—bracing for legal threats—while condemning trolling.
A Dark Echo
Shan warns Riva could be “another Hansika Motwani”—a child star exploited under the industry’s nose. With her mother steering the ship and no accountability in sight, this exposé, as per Shan, demands answers: Who’s protecting Riva, and at what cost to her childhood?
