A driver from Barwani district in Madhya Pradesh, India won Rs 1.5 crore by investing just Rs 49 in an online gaming app on Sunday. He achieved this by creating a virtual cricket team in the “Rs 49 category” and securing the first position on the app.

The winner, Shahabuddin Mansuri, revealed that he had been trying his luck by creating teams on similar online cricket games for the past two years. During a match between Kolkata and Punjab on Sunday, he formed a cricket team on the app which proved to be a winning strategy.

Out of the total amount he won, Shahabuddin has already withdrawn Rs 20 lakh from his app wallet. However, a sum of Rs 6 lakh will be deducted as tax, and the remaining Rs 14 lakh will be credited to his bank account.

Shahabuddin, who currently resides in a rented house in Sendhwa, Madhya Pradesh, plans to utilize the money he has won by building his own house. In addition to that, he also intends to start his own business with the remaining amount.
