Did not say ‘Ram-Ram’, husband beaten in Alwar, tried to undress his wife

There was a lot of uproar at Alwar bus stand on October 5, ie last Saturday night. Here a case of beaten up of Muslim husband and wife has come up.

The boy is Nuh, from Mewat. His wife came to Alwar from her maternal grandfather Didwana. The boy reached there to pick him up. They were about to catch Nuh’s bus back from there. Before that, both of them were eating something at the bus stand with their child. It was around half past eleven of the night.

Then two people named Surendra Bhatia and Vansh Bhardwaj reached there. A report published in the Times of India states that both of them had drunk a lot. Both reportedly started making comments on Muslims. He also said that they are living in India but not taking Ram’s name. After this, he told the boy that he would have to say Ram-Ram. When he refused, the two started beating him together.

When the wife tried to save, both of them made vulgar gestures towards her. Tried to take her clothes off. Seeing all this, a crowd gathered there and grabbed these two persons and coddled them. Till then the police reached there.

A case was registered at Alwar Mahila Police Station. The SHO Chauthamal told the ANI on Sunday, October 6 that both were arrested on their complaint. Under sections 354 A (sexual abuse), 295 A (intentionally hurting religious sentiments), 509 (words or gestures uttered with intent to hurt a woman’s honor) and 323 (intentional hurt) of the IPC, a case has been registered.

Whether these two persons are associated with any organization, or they have such a history, no details related to this have been available yet. As soon as any information is received in this regard, it will be added to the story.
