A terrifying incident at a petrol pump in Raipur has sent shockwaves across social media, highlighting the dangerous consequences of reckless behavior. A young man, reportedly in an inebriated state, set his friend’s motorcycle on fire in the middle of a fuel station after he was stopped from lighting a cigarette. The entire act was captured on CCTV, leading to the swift arrest of two individuals by the Chhattisgarh Police.
The incident took place at a busy fuel station in the Birgaon area of Raipur. According to reports, two friends arrived at the petrol pump on a motorcycle to refuel. While the tank was being filled, the man sitting on the pillion seat attempted to light a cigarette. In a high-risk environment like a petrol pump, where even a small spark can trigger a massive explosion, his companion tried to intervene and warned him about the danger.
However, instead of understanding the gravity of the situation, the man became enraged. In a fit of drunken defiance, he pulled out a lighter and intentionally set fire to the motorcycle’s fuel tank while the nozzle was still engaged. Within seconds, a massive blaze erupted, sending sparks flying and causing immediate panic among the customers and staff present at the scene.
