HARIDWAR, UTTARAKHAND – A disturbing video capturing a brazen act of harassment against a female motorist has gone viral, sparking widespread condemnation and raising serious concerns about women’s safety. The footage, filmed and shared by popular female biker and vlogger ‘Rider Noni’, shows a semi-naked man making obscene gestures and blowing kisses at her from a moving van in the holy city of Haridwar.
The incident, which occurred on June 15, was documented by Rider Noni as she was on one of her cross-country biking expeditions. In the video, which has since circulated rapidly across social media platforms, a man can be seen hanging precariously from the window of a commercial van. Unclothed from the waist up, he repeatedly makes lewd gestures and blows “flying kisses” directly at the vlogger as she rides alongside the vehicle.

In the recording, a visibly shaken but composed Rider Noni can be heard calling out the harassers’ behavior. Based on the vehicle’s license plate, she identifies the men as being from the neighboring state of Uttar Pradesh, referring to them as “goons.”
Sharing the harrowing experience with her substantial following on Instagram, Rider Noni posted the video with a powerful caption in Hindi: “How a motherless behavior looks like. Because of people like these, girls do not feel safe.” Her post quickly garnered massive attention, with thousands of users expressing their support and demanding swift action from law enforcement.
The incident serves as a stark reminder of the dangers women often face, even in public spaces. Authorities have reportedly taken notice of the viral video, and an investigation into the matter is expected. The footage provides clear evidence, including the vehicle’s registration number, which could be crucial in identifying and apprehending the individuals involved. This event has ignited a larger conversation online about street harassment and the urgent need for greater accountability and measures to ensure the safety of women on Indian roads.
