How the Virat Kohli Jija Ji Trend Works
The formula for the Virat Kohli Jija Ji trend is simple yet brilliant. An influencer, who coincidentally has the surname ‘Sharma’, creates a video. Set to the nostalgic beat of Akon’s “Soul Survivor,” they begin by hinting at their famous family connection, often saying their brother-in-law is a “big cricketer.”
The video then climaxes with a screenshot of Anushka Sharma’s Wikipedia page, humorously implying they are one of the sisters mentioned. One popular video even used a celebratory picture of the couple after Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s (RCB) title win, affectionately labeling them ‘Didi’ (older sister) and ‘Jija ji’ (brother-in-law). The shared ‘Sharma’ surname among the influencers adds a perfect layer of mock authenticity to the joke.
This clever and amusing trend is a testament to the creative ways fans engage with public figures. The Virat Kohli Jija Ji trend isn’t just about a simple meme; it’s a playful tribute to a power couple, allowing fans to feel a fun, imaginary connection to the stars they admire.
