The Indian cricket team recently kickstarted their ODI series against South Africa with a bang in Ranchi. While Virat Kohli stole the show on the field with his magnificent 52nd ODI century, it was Indian skipper Rohit Sharma who grabbed eyeballs from the dressing room. His animated reaction to Kohli’s milestone went viral, leaving fans guessing what he exactly screamed in excitement. Now, young pacer Arshdeep Singh has finally spilled the beans, and the answer has left the internet in splits!
The Ro-Ko Show in Ranchi
In the first ODI against the Proteas, the vintage duo of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli took center stage. Rohit played a quickfire knock of 57 runs, while ‘King Kohli’ anchored the innings, smashing a brilliant 135 runs off 120 balls. This was Kohli’s 52nd ton in ODIs, a feat that had the entire stadium and the dressing room up on their feet.

As soon as Kohli reached the three-figure mark with a boundary, the camera panned to the Indian dressing room. Rohit Sharma, sitting alongside Arshdeep Singh and Harshit Rana, was seen clapping aggressively and shouting something with intense passion. The video of his reaction spread like wildfire on social media, with lip-readers and fans trying to decode his words. Many speculated it was some classic “Delhi-style” praise, while others thought it was pure aggression.
Arshdeep Singh’s Funny Revelation
Putting an end to the suspense, Arshdeep Singh took to Instagram to address the burning question. In a video that is now viral, Arshdeep humorously revealed what his captain said.
“I have been getting so many messages asking what Rohit bhai said after Virat bhai’s century,” Arshdeep said in the video. “So, I am telling you what he said. He said, ‘Neeli pari, laal pari, kamre mey band, mujhe Nadia pasand!’“

Fans Can’t Stop Laughing
Arshdeep’s “revelation” has triggered a laughter riot online. Fans are loving the camaraderie between the senior pros and the youngsters in the team. Whether Rohit actually recited a meme or Arshdeep is just pulling everyone’s leg, one thing is for sure—the mood in the Indian camp is electric!
