Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) mentor was overwhelmed with emotion after his team secured a narrow one-wicket victory over Royal Challengers Bangalore in a high-scoring IPL match at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in the year 2023.

Gautam Gambhir, the charged-up mentor of LSG, pumped his fists in the air and gave warm hugs to all his teammates after the dramatic last-ball win. He then silenced the Bengaluru crowd at M Chinnaswamy Stadium by putting his finger on his lips.

In a nervy final over, Lucknow reached 213-9 and chased down Bangalore’s challenging total of 212-2.

Lucknow Super Giants now lead the leaderboard with six points from four games, while Bangalore slipped to No. 7 with just one win from three matches.

After the game, Lucknow skipper KL Rahul acknowledged the contributions of Stoinis and Pooran, saying, “The way Stoinis and Pooran played, if we have two points today it’s because of them.”
