CSK captain, MS Dhoni, took a break from practice and indulged in spray painting. He was seen colouring chairs at the Chepauk stands in Chennai, as reported by TOI. The video of his artistic endeavor was shared by CSK on their official handle.
The IPL 2023 is all set to commence on March 31. Dhoni will be the only skipper to lead the same team ever since the inaugural edition of IPL in 2008.
Dhoniβs journey in the IPL has been a rollercoaster ride. He has experienced it all, from winning four titles to facing a ban of two years, and from handing over the captaincy to Ravindra Jadeja to resuming it once more.
Though there is no official announcement, there are strong indications that this could be his last IPL. In 2022, when Dhoni passed the captaincy to Jadeja, it seemed as if the baton was being passed on. However, Dhoni had to resume the role as Jadeja was unable to perform the task.
Under Dhoniβs leadership, CSK has won four IPL titles, namely in 2010, 2011, 2018 and 2021. Additionally, he has also led the team to victory in two CLT20 titles in 2010 and 2014.
