In a thrilling Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 encounter, Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) captain Rishabh Pant left fans mesmerized with a jaw-dropping no-look six against Gujarat Titans (GT) pacer Kagiso Rabada. The unforgettable moment took place during the final over of LSG’s innings at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, further solidifying Pant’s reputation as a flamboyant cricketer.
The breathtaking shot unfolded in the 20th over when Rabada delivered a full-length ball on the leg side. Showing impeccable anticipation, Pant shuffled across his stumps and flicked the delivery over the fine-leg boundary. What made this shot extraordinary was Pant’s confidence to execute it without even looking at the ball’s flight. The crowd erupted in applause as commentators heaped praise on his audacious approach.
Pant’s spectacular no-look six came amidst a fiery cameo, as he smashed an unbeaten 16 runs off just 6 balls, including two massive sixes. His late-innings heroics, combined with Mitchell Marsh’s maiden IPL century and Nicholas Pooran’s blistering half-century, lifted LSG to an imposing total of 235/2.
This innings was a much-needed statement from Pant, who faced criticism earlier in the season for inconsistent performances. His fearless batting not only lifted team morale but also showcased his potential as a match-winner. For fans and analysts alike, Pant’s no-look six became the highlight of the match, leaving an indelible mark on this season’s IPL.
