Indian cricket team’s fast bowler, Jasprit Bumrah, is currently a hot topic due to his exceptional bowling. You’ve likely witnessed his magical spells in the ongoing Test series in Australia. Watching him, you might think that there’s no one else like him. If that’s your thought, you’d be mistaken. A child in Pakistan is replicating Bumrah’s bowling with uncanny similarity. From his run-up to his bowling action, everything is almost identical.
Child Seen Bowling Like Bumrah
Videos of this young cricket player bowling are going viral on social media. In these videos, the child can be seen taking wickets, bowling just like Bumrah. One video shows him practicing in the nets, delivering sharp deliveries with Bumrah’s signature action. The video captures the child’s near-perfect imitation of Bumrah’s run-up and bowling style.
Wasim Akram Impressed by the Child’s Sharp Bowling
Many prominent Pakistani cricketers have become fans of the child’s bowling. Former Pakistani cricketer Wasim Akram was also captivated by his bowling style. He shared the child’s video on his X (formerly Twitter) account, stating that the video had made his day. Akram even suggested that the child could become a future star of Pakistan cricket. He also tagged Indian bowler Jasprit Bumrah in the post.

Will Pakistan Find Its Next Bumrah?
The child in the viral video appears to be around 10-11 years old. His bowling shows a similar sharpness to Bumrah’s. It’s possible that Pakistan, which hasn’t yet found another Shoaib Akhtar, might find its next Jasprit Bumrah in a few years. This young talent could trouble opposing teams for Pakistan. However, it’s crucial that Pakistan nurtures this child’s talent effectively.
People Commented and Wished the Child Well
The video was shared on X by the user @DeafMango with the caption: “Bumrah, we know you are busy with the Test match, but if you get time, please take a look at this child.” The video has garnered millions of views and thousands of likes. Many have commented, sending their best wishes to the child for his future.
