WhatsApp users have reason to celebrate as the company unveils another fantastic feature called “Recently Online.” This feature, revealed by WABetaInfo, allows users to see a section dedicated to recently online contacts, enabling them to check the availability of their contacts before making a call.

However, it’s worth noting that this feature currently displays the recently online status of limited contacts only. WABetaInfo spotted this feature in WhatsApp Beta for Android version 2.24.9.14, indicating that the company is rolling it out to beta users initially, with plans for a global release after completing beta testing.

Exciting Photo Gallery Access Feature

WhatsApp is also preparing to launch another exciting feature that will allow users to access their phone’s photo gallery directly from the chat list. Shared by WABetaInfo, a screenshot reveals a new icon in the chat list, which, when long-pressed, grants users access to their phone’s photo library via WhatsApp.

According to WABetaInfo, this feature has arrived for WhatsApp for iOS version 24.7.75 and is gradually reaching all iOS users. It is expected to roll out to Android users soon as well.
